Starting Friday, September 7th, All Sport Academy will be hosting one-hour free seminars each week by our instructors. These seminars will be a combination of lecture, demonstrations and "hands on" work by the those in attendance. Space is limited, so register early...
Seminar Topics for September:
Friday, September 7 - Two Sessions - Softball - Soccer
7-8:00pm - ASA Softball instructor Jodie Ricciardi, former assistant coach at Princeton University, Drew University and TCNY, will present a softball hitting seminar. Jodie will discuss common hitting problems with demonstrations and hands on drills such as tee work and soft toss.
8-9:00pm - ASA Soccer instructor Jodie Ricciardi, head soccer coach at Mercer County College, will present a soccer skills seminar. Jodie will discuss different ways of striking the ball and when to use each. Hands on drills will include individual ball handling skills and team drills that involve groups.
Sunday, September 16 - Basketball Seminar
6-7:00pm - Dewey Ferguson, ASA's basketball instructor, will conduct a shooting seminar with demonstrations and hands on drills. Location will be announced.
Sunday, September 23 - Increase your Vertical Jump Seminar
6-7:00pm - JR Papernik, ASA's strength and conditioning coach, will discuss exercises and techniques to increase your vertical jump. Volleyball players, basketball players, track athletes, football players wanting to increase their vertical jump for the combine and more will benefit from an increase in your vertical jump.
Saturday, September 29 - Baseball Pitching
6-7:00pm - Dan Olsson, one of ASA's pitching instructors and former pitcher in the Texas Rangers organization, will discuss mechanics and common issues with youth pitching. This seminar will be beneficial for little leaguers on up.
Sunday, September 30 - Baseball Hitting
6-7:00p, - Ron Sutter, ASA's newest baseball instruction partner and owner of Ron Sutter's Professional Techniques Baseball School, will present his Professional Baseball Hitting System to coaches and parents.
